Best Mountain Restaurants in Verbier

If you are skiing with the Snow family just let your instructor or the booking office know that you'd like them to book a lunch for the week. Our team will ensure the lunch is planned wherever you are skiing in 4 valleys.

Here is a short list of our favorite restaurants on the mountain curated by our founder Matthew. Client approved.

LE DAHU

This is a must-visit when in Verbier. The restaurant is located on La Chaux which is an amazing spot for a reunion if you are skiing in a group with various levels. No reservations, arrive early or late to skip the queue. The terrace has wind and snow protection and amazing panoramic views of the Combin glaciers. Fantastic pizzas (probably best in Verbier) and classic Swiss cuisine. Something for every taste. Kids friendly with a good kids menu and you can ask for a coloring kit too. They also provide extra blankets if you are cold. Below the restaurant, you will find a self-service terrace, where they serve fast food if you just want to grab something quick and enjoy a ski break in the sun. Perfect for hot chocolate breaks too!

LE CARREFOUR

If you are on holiday with non-skiers or neverevers who still learn to ski on beginner slopes this is the best restaurant to plan a lunch at. The restaurant lies at the edge of the ski resort, just at the final station of the free ski shuttle bus. Le Carrefour is well-known for its röstis, roasted duck, and steak. Lunch there is always a treat!

CHEZ DANY

Before planning a lunch there check if the slopes are open. Located above Medran, in the small hamlet of Clambin Chez Dany is an all-time favorite for its panoramic terrace and views. Classic hearty Alpine food. Our clients love to stop there for relaxed après ski bubbles with nibbles too. For non-skiers, it's accessible by a 30-minute snow-shoe walk from Medran or Le Carrefour.

CHALET BLANCHE (SAVOLEYRES)

Members-only club just below the top of Savolyeres lift station. Fantastic panorama with haute cuisine experience, few of our instructors who have been lucky to get invited by clients say it's without hesitation the best culinary experience on the mountain accompanied with fantastic views.

MOAY (BRUSON)

It's a traditional Valasian family-run restaurant where locals go. Nothing fancy but hearty Alpine food accompanied by always-on ski racing on TV and some hardcore ski fans.

L'ALPAGE (THYON)

Located at the very end of 4 Valleys, L'Alpage is our client's favorite restaurant in 4 valleys. Fantastic terrace with a view of Matterhorn and tasty, hearty local cuisine with a modern twist playing with various textures and flavors.

If you don't want to stress about how to find these, book a Snow family ski instructor who will take out the mapwork for you to enjoy your holidays!
